The JAM Project is a Super Group of veteran singers which was founded by Hironobu Kageyama, Ichirou Mizuki and Rica Matsumoto on 19th July 2000. The first CD Single of the JAM Project in fact is "KAZENINARE/Crazy Revolution!", which contains two songs for the Anime EX Driver, featured by Matsumoto Rica. The JAM Project usually sing songs for Japanese Anime and for Video Games (in particular Super Robot), but they make many Original Songs too. The most well-known JAM Project songs are SKILL, GONG, VICTORY, BREAK OUT and ROCKS, and in the 2008 they debuted all over the world with the sponsor theme NO BORDER.
The motto of the JAM Project is to create music which has the power to make dream childrens and adults who still believe in the Japanese Animation Heroes.JAM Project popularity is increasing very much year by year, thanks their amazing Rock/Heavy Metal sound, their powerful voices and burning spirits.

Rica is been the founding female member of the group for 8 years. Her powerful voice is been a great contribute for the JAM Project, but unfortunately she had left the group (maybe only for a while) on 7th April 2008.

PAUSE OR SECESSION? There aren't others informations about the actual status of Rica with the group.
JAM Project misteriously deleted every information about Rica in their Home Page, an act which remove the hope of the return of Rica in the group. However, at that time, Rica clearly said "this isn't a secession",

so, the Return of Rica to the JAM Project, is still possible.
